With over 25 years of experience in mental health as a carer and working in occupational therapy, I have dedicated my career to enhancing well-being through creativity. I specialise in mindful journaling through art, a practice I offer for both adults and children, fostering self-expression and healing in schools and hospitals.

My artistic journey began as a personal outlet, and now paint professionally. I was diagnosed with ADHD and realised my limited

colour pallet and my fear to explore was reflected in my earlier artwork. This evolution has taught me that our art often mirrors our emotions, a concept I explore deeply in my creative practice. My current work reflects my journey, facing difficulties and strengths.

My website showcases a variety of my projects, including my latest artwork, my old and latest commissions.

I have been inspired by @milanartstudios and their amazing artwork techniques in mix media, during a time I felt like giving up. So

I am forever grateful for all of those amazing artists out there who  have a genuine passion for teaching and inspiring others to reach

their true potential.

I aim to establish myself further in the art community, with aspirations of showcasing my work at the London Art Biennale.

I am also the proud author of two published children's books available on Amazon: "My Picture Diary Playground," a picture diary

that encourages expression, development and fosters trust in relationships at a young age, and my second publication "The Cat, the

Owl, the Frog, and the Rabbit," an enchanting tale promoting self-love. If you would like more info about my children's books and

Natures Embrace

20' x 30'  Mix media

46026FCD-3F57-422A-AE2C-256F2F2FEF5C.jpeg

This piece started as a glorious experiment, layers of colour and texture thrown down with zero concern for the final outcome. (Honestly, overthinking is the enemy of creativity!) I stuck to a limited colour palette, but the magic happened when I spotted the shape of a tree emerging from my initial marks. That’s when the tiger appeared, like he was waiting to be found.

This intuitive, go-with-the-flow process is my absolute favourite. It keeps me from getting stuck in my head and lets me fully embrace the creative chaos. As someone with ADHD, this kind of freeform approach is a game changer, it allows me to work with my brain rather than against it. No rigid plans, just a natural flow that leads to something unexpected and exciting. I think many artists (ADHD or not!) will relate.

The tiger took centre stage, symbolising power, strength, and determination. Placed within a serene landscape, his wild energy contrasts beautifully with the calm surroundings, each enhancing the beauty of the other. Using acrylics and oils, I played with vibrant colours and bold brushstrokes to bring movement and life to the scene. In the end, this piece is a reminder that creativity thrives when we let go of control, follow our instincts, and trust the process. Sometimes, the best things appear when we least expect them, just like that tiger.

Tender Connections

60 x 76cm mix media

My Artwork captures the tender connection between parent and child. Inviting viewers into a visual dialogue filled with warmth and care. The soft, warm colours evoke a comforting sense of safety, while the transparency in my artwork reflects our shared vulnerabilities. The intertwining shapes symbolise the unifying embrace of our love, celebrating the profound bonds that nurture us.

Humming bird

11.7' x 16.5' mix media

This piece started with the background, an adventure in mixed media! The hummingbird became the perfect symbol of stillness, and movement coexisting, a reminder that even in the chaos, we need moments of stillness to grow and thrive. A little flutter, a little pause that’s the balance of life!
